I’m almost settled on a Synology DS218+, but I’m also overcurious about the Qnap TS-431X2 especilly the 10GbE SFP+.ġ. To be honest much of my reason for buying a Synology is the design, Qnap doesn’t make a “pretty” black NAS, it seems that they are unable to settle on a design and keep it, too messy for me. I’m in the market of buying a 2-4 bays NAS with the possibility of running a couple of (linux) VM/Containers.
